Tigaki / Pefkos and advice on Tigaki resort.

Stayed at Pefkos a couple of times and loved the resort. This year we have been looking to stay at Tingaki in Kos.

Has anyone out there been to both? What is Tingaki like compared to Pefkos?

Has Tingaki got enough bars and taverns for a two week stay? Me and the wife are not bothered about wild nights but do like a drink or two late doors after a traditional greek meal.

Also are there places to get a Gyros? During the day much prefer to chill out and have a gyros or salad in some sort beach bar / cafe than a full on meal especially in the greek heat.

Are there any beach bars in Tigaki?

Thanks all,

Cheers,

Dave

hi i have been to both, tingaki is smaller than pefkos and quieter, we stayed at mythos first time and akti dimmys second time, loved both. You can get gyros in tingaki, the beach is close to cafes etc but no beach bar. Popular restaurants get busy and theres loads of places totally empty, we went in june so will be busier later in season, wiould love to go back but theresd not enough for my 2 teenagers so we are going to spain this year.

Actually there is a beach bar - Mickey's beach bar and there are others too but not sitting on the sand itself.
