Ferry from Turkey in late November

I am travelling to Turkey in November and would like some advise about visiting Kos for a day. It seems like it is a nice place and why not have the experience of visiting Greece at the same time. Any suggestions on traveling to the Greek Islands or any other places in November.

What ferry service would be available and what else is there to do near the coast.

Are you travelling to Bodrum? I don’t know how often the boat goes from Bodrum to Kos in the winter but there is a chance that you might have to stay overnight if there is only one service per day. You could put a day aside and see if you can do this wile you are there. Kos is a very interesting place it has very important ancient Greek ruins and architectural influences from the crusaders the ottomans and the Italians in the early 20th century.

November indeed the connections between Bodrum and Kos are daily no more. But you can rely on the 3-times-per week schedules by the Bodrum Maritime company which every MO - WE - FR departs at 0930 from Bodrum arrives Kos at 1030 and the back from Kos at 1630 arriving Bodrum at 1730. That would give you a 5-hour no stress stay in Kos in which you can wander around town in combination to a visit to Asklepion. Regards:)

Are there ferries to other islands in the winter or is Kos the only island with a ferry from Turkey.

Marmaris <> Rhodes has a winter service, and possibly Kusadasi <> Samos(Vathy).
