GiliCat service

Wanting to take my Mother and Father to Gili Trawangan and I am Looking for a service that boards the fast boats from a wharf as opposed to walking into the water to board. Have been told that "Gili Cat " is the only service that does this????

Hi Heidi

We used the Gili Cat back in March 2011. Yes we boarded via jetty on the way over but when we arrived at Gili T we had to disembark out into the water (not deep) onto the beach. They did assist those who needed it. Same on return trip. Perhaps someone who has been more recently could advise whether this has changed or not??

No info on any other service sorry.

Cheers

Debby

Too hard to predict such a thing.

Weather and daily circumstances will bear upon this.

Best to just expect wet feet, and maybe more from any available method of transfer.

Please also wrap anything of value or that may be damaged by water incase your luggage is splashed, inadvertently dunked or meets some other misadventure.

It is at least warm water, but it is most certainly wet.
