Currency exchange

Hi is it best to exchange currency on arrival or do you need to exchange before you travel? Thanks for any advice.

You always get a better exchange rate in Turkey than in the UK, have a look at the info on the Sarigerme.net website, lots of useful info on here................

As mentioned above change it when you get there. Also most places will take pounds or Euros as well so you can get by without changing very much. You might need some Lira for small items or for the Dolmus but you can easily draw it from the ATM's.
