Dentists in LC or PDLA

Hi we arrive in LC in a couple of months and would be interested in getting check ups or any work done over there as we feel it would be considerably cheaper than where we live.

Would be interested in prices say for a check up or a filling.

Have had a look on some sites but couldn't find prices.

Many thanks

Can't help with the specifics, John, but before he moved to the UK, my Spanish brother-in-law used to reckon it was cheaper there and would make appointments to co-incide with holiday trips to Britain.

By the by, this company came well recommended when I asked about English speaking dentists in the area - http://www.tenerife-dental.com/

I think like UK dentists they don´t advertise their prices because one prices doesn´t necessarily fit all. There is Excellent Medical in Los Cristianos, their dental surgeries are in Golf del Sur and going by their doctors in Los Cris. I would think they are good. http://www.excellentmedical.es/

My dentist (I use Olivier and OH has Mariano) are superb they are in Adeje town they do not charge for initial check-up and quotation and you have 3 months to decide whether or not to accept. They have an English/Japanese administrator Amanda who also speaks Spanish who will explain anything you need to know about your quote and the treatment suggested.

My daughter is an oral and maxillofacial dentist and even at 'mate rate' could not match what is charged here.

best place to go for dental work is India, my neighbour goes all the times, very very cheap and excellent results.
