First time in Kalamaki

Hi, it's our first time in Kalamaki, going 24th October. Family of 5 with older/adult kids. Few questions please.

What kind of weather can we expect?

Recommendations for good family pubs?

Recommendation for reasonably priced food?

Anywhere do a quiz? We love a quiz lol

What can I expect to pay for a pint of beer/cocktail?

What can I expect to pay for a full English

Any goods trips? Maybe boat or jeep safari

Sorry for so many questions much excited

Thank you in advance 👍

Weather - changeable from day to day and cold at night

Bars - Drunk Corner, Why Not, Iguana but you will have very few to choose from at that time of season. Last year i stayed open till 29th Oct but many started to close around 21st. I'm closing 23rd this season as wasn't worth staying open in last week.

All the restaurants are reasonably priced.

Quiz nights may be hard to find if not enough tourists.

drinks can range from 2.50 to 6€ will depend what you have of course

Full english 4.50€ and above

Again trips will be less choice due to time of season, it is the very last week after all

I think Kev has posted a very optimistic view of what it will be like last week October.Trips will be all but finished especially boat trips.Bars, restaurants most will have closed.

You do have the option of a bus into Zante town where all is open.As there are five of you perhaps even a taxi.

Don't want to put a dampner on things as you will find somewhere to eat and drink but rather be honest than you expecting a thriving resort.

Enjoy your holiday as many that visit Zante do in fact prefer late season holidaying.

Love town at night, lots of restaurants and bars to explore as well as the main shopping area not to mention the harbour looks great at that time of day too.

It will be much quieter in Kalamaki that week as places gradually close down but there will always be somewhere open for a drink and something to eat.

Enough if only half the resort were to be open there would be more than enough places open.

staying at the Garden Village, flying with Thomson. It looks lovely. Though I hear drinks and food a bit pricey.
