    Can anyone recommend a good place for lunch in the vicinity of Field? We like healthy food including turkey, chicken, veggies, and salads

    Field is a very small village - population approx. 300. I understand that there is one restaurant there, the Truffle Pigs café. Another is nearby, at the Emerald Lake Lodge, at Emerald Lake. Otherwise, your next nearest choice is Lake Louise, which is about 20 minutes' drive away, or Banff, which is about an hour's drive away.

    Cathedral Mountain Lodge might also have a restaurant. It did when I stayed there years ago.

    with all the beautiful scenary...make a sandwich buying stuff from a local grocery store and just stop and eat outside.

    We recently enjoyed a healthy lunch at a small cafe in Field ...The Siding..very good and reasonable...Field is a wonderful short stop!
