It appears to be the former Diva hotel located at the bottom end of the strip, right in the heart of the nightlife. Reviews for diva can be found here: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g658915-d2249069-Reviews-Diva_Hotel-Laganas_Zakynthos_Ionian_Islands.html

Location can be found here. http://www.justzante.co.uk/laganas.htm

The hotel is featured on the Thomsons website and the pictures on there look more appealing than the ones on here! Hopefully the name change has coincided with a revamp of the place :-)

Do not stay there. My daughter and her friends are there. All they do is make up charges to charge them. gave my daughter a sheet with henna on and said she did it and wanted to charge her. Money mysteriously disappeared after room was cleaned. If you want to get ripped off stay here. if you want to actually enjoy your holiday do not!

I have just got back from my stay at this hotel and it was awful. When we arrived they took our passports off us and would not give us them back till the last day. On the first night my friend was sick on her mattress and she was charged 109€ to replace it!!! The boy who works at the bar around the pool harassed all the girls around the pool and slept with most of them, he also climbed on our balcony at night and banged out door in. As Us girls all got henna tattoos they printed onto the sheet and we also got charged 49€ for that. The cleaner had put an old sheet with henna on one of the beds and tried to charge us for it we asked to see a manager and she never show d up so we had to pay for the sheet that was not our fault! Most night there was no hot water and by the end of the holiday the lights broke in our room. another one of my friend got charged 95€ for a mattress the second to last day. In the lobby there was plastic flowers in a vase and my friend took one when she was drunk the hotel charged us 20€ for this. The cleaner only ever came into our room to check for things to charge us for and the room was never actually cleaned. Money went missing from our room and the door was always left unlocked. On the last night the hotel wanted us out but our rep argued with them to let us stay the last night, they wanted us out because we argued about everything we where being charged for and our attitude was bad. I would never ever stay here again they completely ripped us off and made money off us.

Stayed at the trinity first week of June this year. Exact same experience as others have written. This hotel is run by SCAMMERS, they will try to charge you for damages that appear in your room while you are out. All they are after is extra money from you. They tried to charge us for new towels, sheets all because of a small sand stain on each. A small yellow stain 'appeared' on a blanket and they tried to charge €50 for one blanket! The Thompson rep would only side with the hotel and not back us up at all! Spoken to like crap and treated like criminals. Really spoilt some of our holiday. My advice if you have unfortunately already booked at this hotel, would be to take the rep to every item in your room when you first arrive and make them check every sheet blanket and towel that's supplied by the hotel. Tbh I wouldn't even use the towels, use your own if you don't want to be charged. The hotel itself is a health and safety hazard, light fittings falling apart, mould on the wardrobes, bathroom doors coming apart, our room door would never actually lock and the balcony door broke too. No shower curtains in the bathroom, everything gets soaked hence why we had to use a towel as a shower matt, causing a stain, (shower matt not provided). Also very rarely you will get actual hot water. This was formerly known as the diva hotel search for that on trip advisor and you'll see why they changed the name. Also if you have booked self catering and told you have a kitchenette, there isn't one, just a locked fridge you have to pay for. Just a note, we didn't actually pay anything for the 'damages' we refused and argued till the end, this reply is purely here to advise people of our awful experience with this hotel, so other people don't get ripped off by these CON ARTISTS and SCAMMERS. AVOID TRINITY HOTEL!! Zante itself is beautiful, had no other problems at all there, lovely people, scenery, nightlife and beaches. Definitely coming back, but DEFINITELY to a different hotel!

The hotel itself is located in a prime position on the strip opposite Kamakase club and next to the Zero Night Club. the hotel has a strict rule on no fun allowed and must be left at the door, we of course tried our luck and ended up with a 400 euro fine. they also do not allow movement off any equipment such as balcony chairs or any other items we moved two chairs from one room to the other and nearly lost our deposit. (this was 20 euros so not a big deal)

The staff our friendly however the room service is minimal, you have to not be in the room otherwise they wont do anything, one day i had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper.

All in all i would say the hotel is a 2 star rating pushing it at a 3.

Also loud music is played from 8am and does not stop till 11pm if you want any genuine sleep and relaxation this is not the place for you.

Also if you wont to pull you have to pay 20 euros to get them into the hotel this is per person.

I read all these reviews before i stayed here and was quite worried myself. However I just got back from here with 9 of my mates and we all said that these reviews shouldn't even be on here. If you're gonna be a typical young brit abroad and can't even handle a few cocktails then you're obviously gonna get charged..... I'm 20 and my a few of my mates are 21 and we had the best 11 days here. Rob the guy who works behind the bar is a legend and you get treated how you treat the hotel. If you are gonna mess around you're obviously gonna be hated on. If you build a good relationship with the hotel then you're gonna be ok. The hotel is in the best location. We popped back many of times to get extra money and then walked just next door to one of the biggest clubs. Highly recommend this hotel. Even the reps were pretty sound, they asked if we wanted any rep packages on the first day... we obviously said no because they start far too early and they left us to it. Highly recommend the VVIP boat party, white party and hiring out a speed boat and bombing it round turtle island :)
