lassi to lourdata

We are staying in lassi and have friends staying in Lourdas and we wondered how much it would cost in a taxi to go and meet them. The second option is meeting them somewhere in the middle, where would that be.

thanks.

A perfect spot would be the taverna next to St. Georges castle

Wonderful views with good food at reasonable prices.

Great suggestion Barry - you beat me to it!

No it's not a resort, just a beautiful village with stunning views, more or less equal distance between Lassi and Lourdas.

It's mainly known as St Georges castle or Kastro. It stands at the top of a hill and can be seen for miles around (certainly from Lourdas, probably from Lassi) and is well signposted.

The village at the foot of the hill is Peratata.

Without a car this sounds like a fine suggestion. If you want a beach and restaurants however to spend the day at then I would suggest Avithos beach. Two restaurants, a beach bar and a beautiful sandy beach!

Wherever you choose I'm sure you'll enjoy it...SJL

If going to St Georges Castle, and the Kastro Café is great, make sure you ask the taxi driver to drop you at the castle and not just Peratata as it is a steep hill up to the castle and the café!!!
