March visit, Whales likely?

Hi there, we're thinking of booking a trip Mid-March, 17th onward, what is the likelihood of whales still being around that time, I know dolphins are pretty much guaranteed, but would love to see some whales. Thank you

we did not see a single kid on our boat. im not sure why. only reasons to not take kids would be - they are more prone to sea sickness OR they cannot sit idle and stare out into the open sea for an hour or two at a stretch. it is extremely tiring, but im guessing kids should have better endurance than adults.

to answer your question - we had a majority of 16 to 35 year olds with a few 50+ adults rounding off the passenger list. no kids.
