How do I know if I am getting a good price from Canada

Our travel weeks are flexible, I was just wondering how you know if the price is a good price... I know flight prices can vary from city to city, but how inexpensive do the rates go for 1 week , 2 adults at the park suites?

Should I jump on a price of $3500 (incl fees and taxes)....or do the deals get better than that, ie on a last minute deal?

Depends on dates of travel? When did you plan to go?

Check www.tripcentral.ca

3500 for two people sounds really high from Toronto. I paid less for 3 of us.

I am traveling from halifax, best I have seen was $3000 all in. Air transat is the only direct option. I have never done all inclusive so I don't know what a good deal looks like to cuba... I am sold on the IE though, so it's not like I am shopping the best deal in cuba - just the best deal at a specific resort.

Agree that it depends on travel dates. Price is all about supply and demand, so if you're traveling in the high season (March break) expect to pay as much as double as low season (September/October)

and if that tour operator goes on strike you can see the prices stay up! carol e. but $3500. for 2 is a dreadful price unless you get the whole island. our 3 weeks/double/taxes in was $2400 in dec.before the holidays. for 3 star santa lucia. and I could have gone cheaper.

Booking early with sunwing obviously does not help. A week before departure they dropped the price per person, $400 a head.

As rrrrichar mentioned .

Westjet tends to reward their clients with better early bookings.

Ya play the game!

Thanks again, rrrichar, for the Cigars!

Watch the prices for 3 weeks advance...I believe they're cheaper then.

Cheers
