Depends a little which end of PDI you are going but in a taxi travel time is approx 15/20 mins depending on traffic build up around tea time .Sorry cant advise on price ,however you do have the option of the local bus there and taxi back .You may once at the nearest bus stop in PDI need a taxi to the meet up place .

Hope someone comes up with Taxi costs for you

Over €25 one way. I'd recommend bus there and taxi back.

Yep as advised above by Ruth bus there taxi back, catch the bus from the stop which is virtually underneath the main coastal road overpass just behind the central beach area. From the central beach walk back inland where the roundabout is, then on your right ( with your back to the sea) there's a stone wall this is where the bus stop is. Catch the 01 service which skirts across the top of P.D.I. or either the 32,33 services which both go all around P.D.I.

Main course run from about 5 euros, look out for "MENU DEL DIA" deals which is a 2 course set meal with a drink from around 7 euros (adult portions).

In general it's all a question of what you want to spend, it's as cheap or as dear as you want it to be. There are all day Chinese buffets, take aways of all descriptions and also some very good value eateries mainly in Puerto Rico's main commercial centre which is'nt far away at all.

Local lager which is "Tropical" can be found for 1 euro a pint during happy hours and varies from place to place but you should'nt pay more than 3 euros a pint anywhere.

No problem with winds in August appart from the odd sirrocco which is unpleasantly hot, usually you'll be glad of a good breeze in the heat of August.

The walk from Amadores to P. Rico is lovely all along the walkway cut into the cliffside, just be careful with the kids as some sections run parallel to the main coastal road which is protected with a barrier.
