Atlantica Aegean Blu

Hello forum,

I am attending a family wedding in Rhodes in May. Most of the wedding party are staying at this resort. We are torn as we are a couple without small children and feel unsure about staying here or another hotel nearby. I understand it is a great resort for kids but when we don't have any small ones its not really what we want is to be on a massive family orientated resort. We're not AI fans either. Reading reviews it seems the resort is not up to standard of 5*.

Can anyone recommend any hotels near here, preferably B&B basis and beachfront or close to. I assume there are some nice restaurants in the vicinity?

Any advice would be fantastic, thanks.

Unfortunately beachfront hotel in Rhodes generally means in a resort.

Most places on the east coast of Rhodes are within 30 minutes from Kolymbia so you might think of staying in Afandou, Stegna, Haraki or Lindos but you may have to consider something not quite 5 star.

We went to the Atlantica Imperial resort in Kolimbia with Thomson and had a great time, food was fantastic and as it is adults only there are no little chlldren running around, you have to be over 18 to book. Best news of all is that it is only a 10 minute walk max to Atlantica Aegean Blu. Hope this helps, Anita

Thanks very much for your advice.

Another consideration is for us to book B&B giving us flexibility to choose where we eat but perhaps get a day pass to this resort to spend some time with family.

I'm not sure if this is possible and if so what the cost would be.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks again.

Hi. With most of the AI Resorts "Day Pass Wristbands" have to be purchased if you wish to spend time with guests and you are not actually staying in that hotel. though some will let you pay cash for drinks.
