A couple quick questions. . . . .

We are counting the days until Santa Teresa. I would like to know about NCAA football and NFL games on television. Last year we went to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji on vacation and of course there was no NCAA football and very limited NFL on television.

What about American beers? What's football without a cold Coors Light? What about the local brew? Does Costa Rica have something that they are proud to call their own?

Coors light is really hard to find. Miller Light maybe.

Imperial Light in a can is very good for those who are Coors Light lovers. Bavaria light is REALLY light.

You could try the Mal Pais Surf Camp or the Good Vibrations bar for watching football or any other sports. As far a beer goes, you will find loads of Imperial or Pilsen, which are Costa Rican beers. For anything foreign, you might pick up something at the local grocers, but you will be paying a premium.

You will be visiting a country that is seriously football (soccer to N. Americans), so if you can't find NFL, you will have to watch what the Costa Ricans watch! As the saying goes...when in Rome.....

This 'ain't' the United States!!
