Can you take the Deep Woods Off spray in your checked luggage?? Or will TSA remove it? What bug spray will get through and not be confiscated?
If the OFF in in your checked bag it won’t be a problem
You can bring wipes in carryon and small size DEET bottles available in outdoor stores.
Aerosols must go in your checked luggage but if your Off is in a pump spray bottle, it can go in your carry-on bag (in liquids baggie with your other liquids) provided the bottle capacity doesn't exceed 100ml.
Only stuff with DEET works for me; YMMV.
For many years I had never used anything but after having dengue I decided it was time for DEET.
There’s nothing like a case of dengue to reorder one’s priorities. I still have vivid memories of getting it more than 30 years ago.Edited: 3:19 pm, June 19, 2018
DEET it is! Thank you
DEET, especially if you can get the 100% stuff. (We Canadians can't, grr.)
Icaridin is new and works well too, my deep-woods experience. That's with 20%, which seems to be another government maximum. Icaridin doesn't stink or melt plastic.
