Travel TO Corsica from France

I am trying to work out the best way to get to Corsica, Bonifacio in particular, from France. We will have quite a bit of luggage, including a set of golf clubs.

From where in France? If your starting point is Paris, you would do best to fly. From Nice or Marseille, a ferry would be better.

Kerry....Corsica is part of France. I'm assuming you are coming from the mainland. You will need to rent a car when you arrive whether you fly or travel by ferry. Car rental companies don't allow their vehicles on the ferries.
