Bonifacio or Porto Vecchio

We are travelling to both towns in September this year. Would you recommend we stay in both places for 4 nights each or is it best to stay in the one spot and drive around?

We want to visit the beautiful beaches and have some fun nightlife also. Thanks!

It is less than 40min drive so really there is no need to have two different accomodations (it would be like having two hotels to visit Sydney, one in Manly beach and the other one on Darling Harbour - you could do it if you wanted to but there is no need really).

Also arguably you can do Bonifacio in one day: morning: Lavezzi islands / afternoon: Sperone and Piantarella / evening: Bonifacio harbour and old town).

Enjoy Southern Corsica!

I too recommend staying all your available time near Porto Vecchio and making a daytrip from there to Bonifacio. Apart from not having to pack and unpack to travel 'just down the road' you also have many other options for daytrips from Porto Vecchio, particularly since you would like to visit beautiful beaches. You will be spoilt for choice!

In Porto Vecchio Hotel Carré Noir is a great place to stay. Rooms with private balcony and a stunning view.
