Were first timers due to go to Mauritius in April has anyone got any tips and advice before we go ?
Anyone else due to go mid April ?
You will be able to get most of tips by reading the reviews of Tripad.
The weather in Mauritius in April is very warm (Sea temperature 27°C).
There will also be more sun than clouds near the end of April and so you should be able to enjoy your day at the beach without worrying about the weather.
Enjoy your stay and make the most out of it.
Hi VLH - Maurice,
Thanks for your response....I have since met up with my friend Sarah who works for VLH and is a regular guest at Heritage Awali and she has given me lots of tips and advice.
Really cant wait to see you all now...
I saw your post and was keen to find out what your friends top tips are?! We are travelling to Awali for the first time in July!
We are going 20th April. to the Heritage Awali
Its a lovely hotel been there for 3 weeks last time.
Cant wait to go back.Everyone is so nice!
Must take beach shoes if you paddle in sea because of coral and sea urchins
You will love the place!!
Hi Reviewking glasgow,
I have sent you a private message, i hope the tips help.
Hi Mopsessex, ( Barbara )
Thanks for the tip on the Beach Shoes. I've looked at many Photos of Heritiage Awali and never seen anyone in the Sea.
I'm hoping the weather will be good.
SQ7, The reef shoes tip stands for all the island, particularly if you have sensitive feet. Mauritius is surrounded by coral reef and therefore broken off bits can be swept onto beaches and into shallow waters. Hotels do tend to clear their beaches on a daily basis.
I'm sure the weather will be fine in April and you will have a great holiday.
I am also keen to know what your friend's tips were, if you don't mind sharing?? We are due to go on 1st May for our honeymoon so would be grateful for any general tips and advice
We are heading out the first two weeks with our boys aged 11 and 8, would be great to hear from you when you get back with any tips, things to avoid and must dos......
