Yosemite to San Francisco

Just needed some advice please...

We are leaving Yosemite on 23 June after staying there for 4 days. We will then have 5 days left to see San Francisco and then we finally finish our holiday in LA. We fly out of LA on 28 June. How do you think would be the best way to spend those last 5 days? Our initial thoughts are to stay 2 nights in SF and then drive down the coast towards LA and spend the last 3 nights in just one place chilling out before we come home. Is it possible to stay somewhere quieter rather than in the hustle and bustle of LA (which I appreciate is a very large sprawling city)? Is there any area that would be good for this but also measn we can get into LA to see the sights if we wish?

Thank you for any advice you can give.

welcome to TA forum. As you may have noticed, you have posted in the Yosemite forum -- which is for planning your vacation to Yosemite. Your questions have to do with the state of Ca, so please go to the CA forum, read the TOP questions and then post there. Most would suggest 2-3 days in SF and 2 nights in just one day and very short to see SF and 2-3 days down the Coast in Monterey and then Pismo or Cambria. You could also stay In Santa Barbara for the last few days. It is too much to rush through in 5 days. Do read up and give us details about your likes and dislikes as no one size fits all.
