Yosemite - Housekeeping Camp or Curry Village

we've stayed at one of the tents in Curry Village and are now for next august considering to either stay there again or give the tents at Housekeeping Camp a try - how do they compare in terms of size, cleanliness and parking? Does HKC have a pool and a "food court" comparable to CV?

thanks

Housekeeping Camp is more like camping. You get a three walled (concrete blocks) structure and a place to cook your own food with your stove. No amenities. There are numerous reports about the ground-in-dirt, close quarters with loud neighbors, and so on. Main positive aspects: it's cheap, you cook your own food, and you can have a campfire.

I like Housekeeping camp because it is more like camping, but the cabins are extremely rustic. We always bring all our camping gear minus the tent when we go.
