Was looking at the places to stay in the park. Everything that looks decent is way overpriced. Not looking to camp while we're there and definitely must have it's own bathroom.
Never been to Yosemite before, but I know like in Yellowstone, the treck into and out of the park is horrid and I remember thinking thank God we stayed in the park. Is Yosemite like that with the things you want to see taking over an hour to get to if you are staying outside the park? I was thinking the lodging outside the park seems like a better option, but I don't want to spend a ton of time driving back and forth since we'll only be there 2 full days.
What town would you stay in if outside the park? If you wouldn't suggest ouside the park, what would be a place you'd recommend in the park that's a "room" or hard sided cabin that would be reasonably priced?
