We have 5 people taking shifts driving while were on our adventure we r staying over night in denver on our way up to yellowstone and also on our way back. We r lookiing for a very nice scenic drive and well would like to come back to denver a different way than we came from denver Into yellowstone. We have looked Into windriver canyon and that looks like a fantastic drive. Was womdering thou what would so of you do if coming from denver? 10 11 hour drive is soemthing we r prepared to do.

Before suggesting the two routes, it would be helpful to know where you intend to enter and exit YNP because those will be the starting and ending points coming and going.

So Jackson and Cody would be your starting and ending points on the routes coming and going?

btw, is there a shortage of letters in Oklahoma?

We like coming across I 80 to Laramie and get off and do the Snowy Mts. scenic hwy to Rawlins then head up thru Lander by Independence rock and Sinks Canyon SP and then enter at the Grand Tetons NP. It is a very scenic drive imo. Be sure and stop and eat in Lander at the Gannett Grill- one of the best burgers you will ever eat.
