winter in Yellowstone

Interested in a winter wildlife-viewing trip to Yellowstone. Anyone have any experience with either a National Geographic tour or Brushbuck tour?

The Yellowstone Association thru it's Yellowstone Institute has winter wildlife tours as well. It is the non-profit that helps with educational support for Yellowstone.

Do you have links for the other tours? Do they go into the park via snowcoach (which you can book on your own) and stay overnight or do they just stay in the Lamar Valley. Lamar Valley is on the only road in the Park open to wheeled vehicles in the winter which runs from Mammoth to Cooke City across the Northern Range.

Unless I'm missing something, I do not see National Geographic or Brushback on this list of businesses which are permitted to provide specialized winter services, including snowcoach service and snowmobile guide service and rentals, in Yellowstone for the winter season.

The only business that is permitted to provide transportation for overnight stays at Old Faithful is Xanterra. Other businesses can provide snowmobile and snowcoach transportation to and from Old Faithful but for day trips only.
