Kuhio Beach Park is my favorite! Get there early and bring a picnic to enjoy in the grass. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 6:00 PM:

And center court at Ala Moana Shopping Center (not strictly Waikiki, but very close) has a free hula show at 1 PM daily (on Sundays it's keiki - kids).

If IMP free stage is still going, they have an excellent show most nights.

The center court at Ala Moana is gone. Lots of places boarded up around that area, they are re-designing I guess!!

There is a nice bar overlooking the show at the Royal Hawaiian shopping center show, so you can get your mai tai and watch the show

Waikiki Beachwalk used to have hula several days of the week.

Now I only see one:

Ku Ha`aheo - Evening Hula, 4:30-6p

Plaza Stage, Tuesday Afternoons

Kapiolani Park has a lot of events throughout the year. Some of them have hula dancers or other entertainment at the bandstand.

On other weekends, you may see groups practicing hula or other Polynesian dances.

The shows at the Kuhio mound are a nice setting, in the evenings mentioned. It's one of my faves too!

Not hula, but free Polynesian show at Hilton Hawaiian Village on Friday nights. It is free if you want to stand around the perimeter of the garden pool. That's what we always did. This is perhaps the best free show on Oahu. You can get garden pool seats for $20 each. But they are hard to get as HHV guests get tickets first before the tickets are offered to the public.

Fireworks off the beach there after the show.
