Best Burger?

I came through SA a few years ago and ate at Chunky's and it was amazing. Just wanted to ask the locals or those who have had a few different places their thoughts as I am coming through town for a day in Feb. Any other recommendations for top burger? Im not a big toppings person, BBQ and Bacon and ketchup are good enough for me if that helps.

Thanks in advance

Chris Madrid's and Bigz are my favorites of the local joints. Get the tostada burger at Madrid's.

macho burger, porky's delight, the cheddar cheesy, definitely go for the tostada burger and add some pico de gallo

Thanks for those links!

It seems like Chris Madrids is a common chart topper from what I had read before and now. Sounds like a good dinner spot...

Being a burger lover, I have tried them all..Longhorn Café has the best burgers followed by Big'z and Fattboy's Burger and Dogs..I find Chris Madrid's way overrated and does not even make my top 5 list..

Show's how different strokes for different folks.

I've tried them all as well and I would put Chris Madrid's near the top as well as the bean burger at Esquire Tavern and the lamb burger at The Cove.

Yeah, different strokes for sure.

Some like thin burgers around here, like Longhorn, which my wife loves, but I don't care for.

I prefer a thick burger so it's not overcooked, like Bigz.

I think Five Guys fries are the best though, if you order them well done.

Madrid's may not be the best, but it's an institution, and the Tostada burger is really good, several places try to copy it.
