Estes Park shopping

Does anyone have suggestions for shops that we definately shouldn't miss in Estes? Something different... Colorado type things...(not t-shirts)...something unusual to remind us of Colorado...any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

It's true that the main shopping street (Elkhorn) in Estes has the requisite number of t-shirt and souvenir shops, which is fine - I need new refrigerator magnets as much as the next person! One shop that I do think offer different and high quality items you won't easily find elsewhere is the Twisted Pine Fur & Leather Company, a little off the main drag at 450 Moraine Avenue (http://www.thetwistedpine.com/) It's a large store stocked to the rafters with all sorts of clothing, accessories and home furnishings, most with a western design. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a fun place to browse. I have a hard time not throwing myself onto the bearskin rugs!

Also, here's a good website with details on different shopping categories in Estes. www.estespark-colorado.com/shopping.htm
