vacation rentals

My family of five is looking for a place in Maui Aug.25 to Sept.1. We would like a place where we can cook at least a meal and possibly

waliking distance to the beach and shopping areas. Please help me.

Our family of five had great time at Polo Beach Resort. On the beach and you can walk up the coastal trail to the Shops at Walea.

look into VRBO, all if not most of the condos have cooking facilities in room and most have a BBQ area. Kihei/Wailea and Lahaina/Kaanapali areas are the usual search.if that seems complicated come back with a budget for more suggestions.

not a good idea to put your email on a post. シ

"Walking distance" shouldn't be a concern. Nearly every visitor to Maui rents a car for airport pickup. If you haven't done so, get busy immediately. You'll be on island when many mainland families come for a last vacation before school begins.

Give us a lodging budget, please.

I would look at kaanapali Alii. Kaanapali Royale and Marriott (Napili Villas Wing). These are condos that are within walking distance of Whalers Village Shopping Center and oceanfront. See if you can get a van rental/condo package.

To really help you narrow your options, we need a nightly budget. On Maui, you can spend less than $200 a night for a condo, or you can spend over $1500 a night--or more.
