First time in Atlanta with kids 5 and 7

We are travelling for the first time to Atlanta with kids 5 and 7 and are looking for a nice hotel in a nice walkable and safe area in Atlanta. Preferably we are looking for a suite type accomodation that would give us enough space for the kids. Any advise?

If, after perusing the neighborhood info, you choose Midtown, I have stayed in both the Residence Inn on 17th St and the Marriott Suites on 14th St. They are each well-suited for families. I'd give the nod to the RI, just based on personal preference.

Depends on the date of travel, and what you want to see.

Thank you for the suggestions.

We will be in Atlanta March 30 to April 6 and are planning to visit the aquarium, Coca Cola Factory, Lego land, Stone mountain and Turner field for an Atlanta Braves game. We will also rent a car.

More suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Try the Botanical Gardens not just for adults, in Piedemont not too far from Mid Town we visited just after Christmas and really enjoyed it.

Take the kids in the varsity for s meal. Use the outside car hop service ask for varsity hats for the kids. Not health food. but an Atlanta institution service us quicker with g the car hops and they'll see something that's fading from existence

Your kids might also enjoy the High Museum, which has a wonderful children's area and a great collection for you to peruse.
