Cobb Galleria Center

What is there to do in/around the Cobb Galleria Center? I will not have a car, but am not opposed to using Marta or taking a cab ride under $20. I have heard there is nothing around there to do at night (eating, casual drinks) for a single business traveller in her late 20's (ok, almost 30's! haha). I was even thinking of switching my hotel to midtown -- though the conference I will be at all day is at the Cobb Galleria. Would I have a hard time getting back and forth at 7am and 4pm if I stayed in Midtown?

Thanks all!

:) H

1. Re: Cobb Galleria Center

I used to live not far from this area, but it was a long time ago. Some nice hotels in the area are the Embassy Suites, Renaissance Waverly and Sheraton Suites.

A good restaurant near this area is Carrabba's, an Italian Restaurant.

If you stayed in Midtown, at least you would be going against traffic for the most part. There are lots of restaurants/bars in Midtown, but not familiar enough with the area.

Again, look at www.cobbcvb.com for more info on this area.
