Hi polly45,

As you are staying in Qawra, look for Melodies, a shop owned by a lovely lady named Mary. You will find it on the corner of the crossroads opposite the San Antonio Hotel. She is well known locally for her reasonable and reliable tours around Malta. Her drivers pick you up at, or near, your hotel and in most cases you get a running commentary of the place you are visiting. You are dropped off where you got on.

There is a fun train that takes you on a round trip of Bugibba, Qawra and St Paul's Bay. It can only be caught at the far end of Bugibba where the cruise boats are moored. It starts early morning and go's on late at night.

Have a good holiday.

Crepello is absolutely right when he says find Mary`s shop.

Her tours are the best value .

If you like the little road train the best one is in Rabat starting from near the Roman Villa .

The ride is 35 minutes and takes you round Rabat and on to Mtarfa past the old British military hospital then by the old railway station then by Mdina and back to the start.

It`s a good ride.

Hi Crepello

Yes all good advice, however you can even see the various tours on the website:-

Tours page:-

You can also find a tour planner according to the number of days you are in Malta to get the best out of your stay !

have a great time in Malta !

Leave the bus station and turn right.

After about 100 /150 yards , with a sort of garden on your right you will come to a crossroads.

Mary`s shop --- Melodies --- is on the corrner to your left.

Dead easy to find.
