South Lake Union Transit

So on my gazillionth trip to Seattle I am thinking of trying the Silver Cloud Lake Union when I bring my son down from Alaska for clothes shopping. I am liking the price point, free breakfast and pool for family fun. But I have to admit that even after studying the transit map, I cannot figure out where exactly the streetcar meets up at Westlake. I stay in that area all the time, use the bus and the light rail, but I have never seen the streetcar. Where does it board near Westllake and where does it stop at Whole Foods on its route or so I've read? Thanks for your help!

The streetcar ends right across from the Westin Hotel in Westlake

Its about 2 blocks to walk to the end of the line for the street cars near Fred Hutchinson

Can you be more specific? The Westin is a big property and I don't want to drag my suitcase the wrong direction looking for the stop. And I don't understand the Fred Hutch reference. What does that have to do with Whole Foods? Are they next to each other?

There's a route map at the bottom of this page: http://www.seattlestreetcar.org/slu.htm A couple of weird intersections where Westlake Crosses 5th/6th Ave. There's a Bank of America branch, A Bartell Drugs & Il Fornaio restaurant (in the bottom floor of Pacific Place Mall). It's (kind of) across the street(s) from the load/unload/taxi/tour bus zone at the Westin.

If riding Link to Westlake Station, then exit the tunnel by Nordstrom & walk West on 5th or 6th Ave. Probably less than 2 blocks walk once at street level to the 'Westlake Hub'/terminus of the streetcar.

For Whole Foods you want the 'Westlake & Denny' stop as marked on the route map linked to above.

Perfect! Thank you Sodomojo! I generally cross the street heading north down by Macys's heading to Dahlia Bakery and Bed, Bath and Beyond so I just don't know the area northeast of Westlake at all.
