Seattle - Bainbridge Island

Like to go to Bainbridge Island using the ferry for a half day visit. Can I do it without a car?

Buy your ticket upstairs at the terminal. When you hear the boarding announcement, walk on with the rest of the passengers. Walk into the town of Bainbridge Island. Google Maps will show you Winslow Way, the major street as well as the waterfront trail leading to the marina, waterfront park. If you wish to go further afield, you'd want a car. Nice ferry ride. If you return at or after dusk, striking views of Seattle.

Yes, you can walk on the Bainbridge ferry as a passenger-only (you can also take a car).
