Seattle Airport to Travelodge Space needle motel

Will be arriving late evening (about 11 P.M). How do I get to Travelodge on public transportation?

Also, how do i go from Travelodge to Smith Cove Pier 91 the following afternoon by public transportation or is it a scenic walk?

I only have a carry on bag to carry.

Thanks

Take the link light rail from the airport to the end of the line at Westlake Center. Costs @2.75. Go up to ground level and catch the monorail to Seattle Center. Walk east on John Street to 6th Avenue...you should be able to see the Travelodge sign from that intersection.

Moot question...the monorail does not run after 11:00 PM. My error. you will have to take a cab from Westlake Center to the motel. Too far to walk at that time of night.

The monorail is privately run, so you always have to pay.

Not to put a damper on your plans but personally I don't want to leave you with the impression that taking public transportation to the Travelodge is a particulary easy thing to do at 11pm to midnite.

Shuttle express runs an airporter service to the Quality Inn Seattle Center which is next to the Travelodge.cost is $19. Hauling luggage to the train and trying to find a cab in downtown at midnite would not be my ideal. Yes its $19 or so but its a whole lot easier and safer.

Just leave baggage claim and go over the skybridge to the parkging garage. Ask for the 'scheduled' service to the Seattle Center.

the monorail is not privately run, the Space Needle is. Metro transit runs the monorail making it the first commercial monorail system in the nation.
