Seattle Center - where is it?

Just wondering where the Seattle Centre is in relation to everything else in the city. I have no idea! Also, does anyone have any suggestions for good restaurants around that area that aren't too pricey? We're travelling from Australia in January and staying in the Comfort Suites Seattle Centre. Thanks!

Seattle Center is just north of downtown. If you look on a map, Denny Way is the southern edge, easily spotted because it runs east-west, and all the streets south of Denny are at 45-degree angles.

Your hotel is a 10-minute walk to the Monorail, which will take you directly downtown.

For a few good pubs and small restaurants, walk west on Roy St. for a few blocks. A few blocks farther, maybe 15 minutes from your hotel, you'll get to Lower Queen Anne, aka "Uptown," where there are dozens more eating and drinking establishments, and a nice movie theater.

Cheers!

P.S. Bring a rain hat!

Erin: If you go to this link, it shows a map of Seattle Center (and what's all there) and another map of the monorail route into downtown:
