humidity in July??

I will be traveling to NO in July for 2 night prior to leaving on a cruise. What is the temp and humidity like in July? How about the St Loius Hotel? Any info on it? Thanks, 1st time visitor.

It will be hot and humid, no doubt. The good thing is that there are plenty of places to duck in and cool off, and if nothing else, you can take a break by taking a ride on the St. Charles streetcar through the Garden District. We have hopped on and ridden all the way to the end and back on several trips down there - very nice way to get a look at the area (beautiful) and very cheap form of recreation (I think it's something like $1.25 each way). :-) Grab a bottle of water and hop on!

We've never stayed at the hotel you asked about... can't help there. If you've done your homework, you should be fine... just stay away from the Days Inn at Canal. AWFUL! :-)

Cruzqueen,

you'll notice almost no difference in temperature and humidity coming from Bmore in July. It's a little more consistent in NO than in Baltimore, but 90F-90H is routine. Maybe 93F-95H as a rule. As opposed to our 89-99...and sometimes the ever so lovely 99-99.
