I'm not sure if they will pick you up from a Metairie hotel, however Dixie Tours has validated parking in town. Call them at 504-522-9422

877-615-7998 or Check out their website: http://www.dixietoursneworleans.com

Great tour of Katrina damaged Ninth Ward houses and also their evening ghost/cemetery tours are exciting!

Enjoy New Orleans ... bring your camera ... take a streetcar ride down St. Charles Avenue during the day for $1.25 per person, walk around the French Quarter, enjoy evenings filled with jazz music on Frenchman Street, take the free ferry ride across the Mississippi River as a pedestrian, visit a cemetery, enjoy some coffee and beignets, sip a Hurricane from Pat O'Brien's, grab some beads from a parade .... you only live once! Check out the Caesar parade on Saturday evening in Metairie on Veterans Blvd. It is one of the nicest parades in the city and you don't have to go far to see it. Make sure you grab an empty bag or two per person to bring home your "loot"! Great time to be in this area!
