Here's a link. I think every festival in NOLA is a busy event. This event takes place on Oak Street which is Uptown near the IS of Carrollton and St. Charles. It's a lot of fun. Enjoy your visit.

I went a couple of years back. SUPER crowded by mid afternoon so get there early to avoid the crowds and very long lines. Do read up on the different types of Po Boys available so you can hit the ones you'd like to try first.

This one took organizers by surprise when it first started as Oak Street just ain't all that big! It was packed with people to the point of being uncomfortable. They've tried to extend hours, make it two days instead of one, etc to reduce the peak traffic.

It's fun, just like most street festivals in NOLA, but I wouldn't say it's a "must do." If you're uptown anyway, though, I'd stop by.
