Drinks, Drinks and more Drinks!

I am wondering what drinks I need to try out while I'm in New Orleans. I know about the Hurricane and the Pimm's Cup. Is there a must-try drink that I should check out while I'm there?

Ramos Gin Fizz & Sazerac!

I also usually drink one (sugar free) hand grenade while I'm there. They serve them at Tropical Isle.

Remember to try the Hurricanes at Pat O'Briens and Lafittes so you can pick which one you like the best. And don't forget the margarita's at El Gato Negro. If you enjoy Bloody Mary's you can get some great ones in New Orleans as well.

The hand grenade is at all locations of Tripical Isle and Funky Pirate also..try the Sazarac at a number of places, Absinthe at tony sevilla's pirates alley cafe, and give the Rainstorm a try at Pat O'briens as an alternative to a second hurricane.

When you're walking around the Quarter and it's so hot you wonder where in the h+ll all your common sense took off to, nothing goes down better than a frozen daiquiri (my husband would argue the point and prefer an ice-cold beer, but to each his own). Since they're a bit steep, here's a 2-1 coupon if you're interested:
