Hiking near Madison or Dells

I'm thinking about an October trip to Madison or maybe Sundara Inn in the Dells. I'd like to do some hiking but I've already been to Devil's Lake a few times. Any suggestions for hiking in the woods on easy trails of about 3-5 miles?

Pick your poison: everytrail.com/best/hiking-madison-wisconsin From what you said, Picnic Point might be what you're looking for.

During October it should be great hiking within the UW Arboretum as well:

Here's a link to a thread from August. There are some more suggestions.
