small secluded place to stay nature, neat hike in area?

I'm looking for a cabin type place just for two people. Nature all around.

I'd like a good hike with water, waterfalls, scenic

Any suggestions appreciated.

here are a few ideas to look at:

Does it have to be in Hot Springs?

If not:

www.longbowresorts.com/

or maybe

Mt Nebo State Park cabins 61,62

www.arkansasstateparks.com/mountnebo

if you are looking only in Hot Springs

maybe Five Points

www.fivepointslakehamilton.com

or Lake Catherine State Park

Mount Magazine State Park! In Paris, AR. Quite a bit north of Hot Springs, but look it up and consider it! Love, love, love the Lodge!

Petit Jean State Park has a great waterfall you can hike down to see. There are several different hikes at the park. Lake Bailey has kayaks/canoes to rent. Cabins available. petitjeanstatepark.com/accommodations/cabin-…

Petit Jean would be a great place to visit--beautiful vista, but it is a park.

Lake Ouachita is beautiful, and just past the State Park, you'll enter the National Forest. Little Blakely Trail offers opportunities around the mountain with lake access. You could also consider renting a kayak or canoe from the marina and boating out to an island or inlet if you have a tent.

Consider looking up Tim Ernst. He has many a books on Arkansas, but so far I'm not aware of such a cabin.... but if I do find it.....

Enjoy Hot Springs. It's lovely, really.
