all seasons legian hotel or fontana hotel?

Hi

I am booking a short 5 night stay in legian, on a budget an dwant to experience hotels this time as we stayed in a villa previously.

I have never stayed in legian before.

Which hotel would you recommend out of all season legian hotel or Fontana hotel bali.

I have read the reviews and im still unsure as Fontana is 4.5 star according to website and all seasons legian is 3- 4 star but has amazing reviews.

Also what is legian area like?

Thank you :)

We love this area. It has everything you need and not as busy. We personally have not stayed at the Fontana but will be staying at All Seasons in May. It's in a great location although not on the beach, really cheap(we got a room for $50/night. The decor is not Balinese, more modern but it is very clean

That sounds awesome ellenor :)

I think im going to go with all seasons already as so many people have left reviews, and it looks like a more popular hotel.

Do you have to pay more for a room on the bottom floor near the pool?

I prefer more modern :) so that's great.

Going in may as well staying at allseasons got good price for deluxe room with breakfast by booking direct with hotel, staying here for location. Fontana looks nice but looks a bit out of the way.

We stayed All Seasons for 7 nights, on our first trip to Bali. Fab staff, spotless hotel, and great buffet breakfast included in price. Used the room service for the pool area, as well as room, and the prices very good. Messy happy hour with cocktails two for the price of one - I bought 4 - and great quality sleep. Enjoy, they are lovely people.

Hi, I;ve stayed at the All Seasons.it's a lovely hotel, not "old bali" style ,more modern, but very lovely. Staff are wonderful.go for a ground floor deluxe room, with the outdoor shower. It's really nice and you are right on the pool and not far from the dining area. breakfast is is a great buffet. There is a lovely day spa in the hotel. Its centrally located, not far to walk anywhere .i stay in the older style small old Bali hotels now, but I can recommend All Seasons, I just prefer the Bali decor now.

I agree with BeeMay - the All Seasons is very good but 'modern'. I prefer Older style Balinese Hotels like the Padma Resort on the beach in front of All Seasons but its very expensive. My niece stayed at the All Seasons recently and LOVED everything about the hotel and the location so I am sure you would enjoy for 5 days.

Yes the Padma would have been my second choice if we were going on a more lavish trip!

Very excited now, I have always been more of a modern girl, our last villas was more Balinese and loved it but didn't like that you couldn't really socialise in villas.
