Not sure about the coffee in Padma, but their are two coffee shops that I know of that get good reviews nearby. My favourite is Mugshot, at the back of the Nikosoma on JL Padma Utara and the other is in Garlic Lane. The name escapes me, but it is regularly recommended and about midway along on the right hand side.

Hubby does not drink coffee(yuk!!) at breakfast so opts for black tea. (sorry can't help you with Padma's coffee)

He agrees Mugshots(as recommended by BL)coffee is really good (they are not open at night)apparently the cafe infront of Beach Melati apartments on Jl Padma Utara do a good coffee & Coffee Corner Jl Melasti (Jl Legian end)

For Iced Coffee Tommy's in Jl Werkudara (rum jungle rd & also not open at night)street opposite Jayakarta hotel entrance.

Hi!

Last time we stayed at the Padma, 18 months ago, now, adjacent to the lobby was a deli/internet cafe which had delicious coffees (and cakes and icecreams etc) all day, with indoor/outdoor seating.

The coffee served at the Padma restaurants was fine also. You had a choice of types, e.g. bali kopi, instant nescafe, or the variety (latte/cappucino/expresso) etc.

Hope this is the info you are seeking!

cheers

When we stayed at the Padma, we would order a double shot Flat White or Latte at breakfast (additional cost) rather than the pot coffee which is horrible. It was always a bit slow arriving but worth the wait!

You could also order the pool side!

If you're In Seminyak, try Grocer & Grind - they also do great cakes, toasted paninis & lunches.
