kerobokan main streets?

Hi

Thinking of a change and going to Kerobokan. How does it compare with legion?

does it have a main street, do they have hotels in the "centre" of Kerobokan?. Is there a "centre"?

Are there bars and restaurants similar to JL Padma and Garlic lane in Legion.

Are bluebird taxi's available?

Thanks

Hi wingsperth

Kerobokan is mainly residential although there are, of course, businesses on the main streets, as everywhere else in Bali. There is not really a centre in Kerobokan, it is more or less an extension of Seminyak and Petitenget. There are restaurants there but not as many as in Seminyak, Batubelig and Petitenget.

Can I ask why you have decided on Kerobokan? Is there a particular villa you want to stay at? There are not many hotels in Kerobokan.

Taxis are available if you call for them and you can get either Bluebird taxis are the local ones. Bluebird taxis often get a little lost when they are not in the main tourist areas.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

We stayed in a hotel in Keroboken on our honeymoon. There wasn't much around at night time. Taxis were reluctant to take us back there because there wasn't a big chance of a return fare. It was lovely and quiet though!
