villa batu tangga Amed

Has anyone stayed at villa batu tangga in amed? There are only 7 reviews anywhere so would love more feedback. We are a large family group of 9 plus two babies. How did the share pool go? How 'resorty' does it make it feel? We were going for a private villa experience.. Any other recommendations for a group this size on beach front? (anywhere in Bali is fine)

A couple of others you could look at in Amed are Villa Paradiso & Jepun Bali Villas. Sorry can't help you with Villa Batu Tangga.

I would highly recommend The Kampung. Staying there currently and absolutely stunning. Two private villas next to each other but also totally private if required. Beautiful old Javanese houses, right on the sea and amazing staff. Can't be anywhere better to stay!

We left The Kampung yesterday after our sixth visit and agree with Roshlondon that it is the best place to stay!

If you booked out the whole of the accommodation you would have five joglos, each with a king size bed and most of them with a large double daybed as well, two pools, two open living areas, two kitchens and even an area with play equipment for young kids - all right next to the black stone beach with the local fishing boats. The staff are amazing local people and there are ladies who cook meals just for the cost of the ingredients. There is good snorkelling a short stroll down the beach.

www.thekampung.com or find them on flipkey under Amed Rentals "Beachfront Hideaway" and read the rave reviews.
