Kemabli beach bungalows

we're in bali in september and are looking to stay in Amed. we really like the look of Kembali beach bungalows but their wesite says that restaurant closes at 8pm.

Can anyone that has stayed there tell us if they have a bar that stays open past this time or is there anywhere within walking distance where the evening can be extended?

Many thanks in advance.

Yes the restaurant (which only has snacks and drinks) does close at 8pm but if you need anything from the fridge after this, you just have to ask Security to get it for you.

There is a great little warung about 150m down the beach that stays open until whenever, the night we were there, one of our party is a musician and asked if he could try to play the traditional instruments. The owner was great, our mate got to play the instruments (and had mastered Gamelan music in about 10 minutes) and while we were eating the owner called in his friends in the band and they played for us for the rest of the night.

There are other restaurnants all along the road and if they are too far to walk to, all you have to do is call them and they will pick you up and drop you off later.

Don't worry there are several restaurants & warungs within walking distance to Kembali Bungalows. Turn right out of Kembali & theres a small warung & also Warung Bobo which is bigger & more like a restaurant. Turn left & there's Jukung Dive restaurant across the road with good food, 3 Brothers restaurant, Amed Cafe restaurant & opposite is another warung. Apa Kabar Villas & Santai Hotel are a little further to walk. As Whinnie mentioned hotels will often pick you up or use a local driver. Blue Moon Villas has a good restaurant & Sails (plus spectacular views) too but too far to walk. Book a table at Sails & ask for a pick up which is free of charge.
