Family Picnic in Feb Last Week.....which place?

Hey Frds,

I am wondering, what would be best place in India during February last week....? Where should I spend good quality time?

I am looking for a break of 5 night 6 days of time..

To mention in detail...my duaghter (22 months by Feb 13) would be traveling....

So considering all this, I request you, if you can suggest a good place

Nearest and most convenient from Mumbai will be Lonavala. You can try for Club Mahindra resort. It might be difficult. You can also think of Club Mahindra at Mahabaleshwar, it os newly opened. We are booked for March end. Other option can be down south - Allepey clubbed with Munnar. North will be too cold for the little one.

welcome to Kerala the gods own country . for 5 days the better plans as follows

4nights /5days pack

DAY 1: Arrive at Cochin and transfer to Munnar 135km -4hrs

Proceed to Munnar hill station, visit spice plantation vallara waterfalls, cheeyappara waterfalls, kallar falls, karadipara view point etc... Overnight accommodation at Munnar

DAY 2: Full day Munnar Sightseeing -100km

After breakfast, Sightseeing travel to echo point,, Mattupetty lake and dam Eravikulam national park , tea museum, kundala dam, photo point ,shooting point , top station ,tea plantation tour , hydel park, rose garden ,bating national park , elephant ride etc... Overnight accommodation at Munnar,

DAY 3: Thekkady -110km -3hrs

drive to Thekkady for sightseeing. Wild life and stay visit wild life sanctuary , Ayurvedic massages , boating at Periyar ,wild sanctuary, spice garden , trekking , elephant riding , and watch kathakali,kalaripayattu, etc..Overnight accommodation at Thekkady

DAY 4: Alleppey. – 170km -5hrs

Sightseeing- checks in to house boat cruise and overnight stay. Enjoy the Kerala back water cruise, historical church , paddy fields, ,kuttanadan back water life , fishing , coir industry , toddy shop , back water island etc .. This is the only region cultivate rice below sea level - A/c deluxe house boat with all food.

DAY 5: Cochin -70km -2hrs

Check out from house boat and Drop at Cochin on the way Cochin sightseeing and Airport/Railway station

visiting gateway of Kerala ,Cochin sightseeing , St.Francis church, Dutch cemetery, Chinese fishing nets, Jewish synagogue, Dutch palace, hill palace, museums , fort kochi, marine drive boating etc.
