Inn-to-inn hike Lake Superior Trail

Is it possible to do an inn-to-inn hike / trail run on the Lake Superior Trail? Max 15 miles moderate elevation change or 8 miles with significant elevation change each day. Total of 3 nights / 4 days. Which parta of the trail are recommended? Should we skip parts of the trail by using a transport service? Would like to end in Grand Marais as that is a fave town in the area.

Yes

Some of the resorts have shuttles and luggage transfers.

I my favourite spots would be from Temperence River to Grand Marais.

The Oberg Loop is an annual hike I do each year in Oct ... the best - and pretty simple up, around, down.

There is the deepest canyon in the state a few miles up from Grand Marais. Drive a little ways to trailhead and head back in towards the city about 10 minutes on the trail. Pretty impressive when on the upper rim looking down to the canyon & the lake.
