Lower Antelope for Sr Citinzen, with large frame

I have heard a lot about the antelops, lower and upper, really wanted to do lower antelope, but I have 2 60+ people in my group, and was not sure, if it is easy for them to walk up and down the stairs. Is mobility a constraint for Lower Antelope Tours?

How hard it is in terms of no of steep stairs, and danger?

Would it be having enough light in early feb to actually have a worthwhile experience, as well as how dangerous are the roads between page and Grand canyon South Rim.

Roads are not an issue. All paved and well maintained. Just don't drive during an active snow storm.

The stairs at Lower Antelope Canyon are improved from the old ladders. But that's what they are. More like long steep ladders with hand rails. Age shouldn't be an issue, but one needs to be physically able to balance as they descend and then climb back up out of the canyon. The Upper canyon has no such ladders or stairs. It's all flat sandy ground.

A search on YouTube will find several videos of Lower Antelope Canyon. Here is one that shows you what it's like with the entrance, steps, ladders, squeezing through, etc.

(Spoiler alert.....don't watch it if you want to be surprised when you visit!)
