Back country hiking

Im Planning on going out to Glacier at the end of june/early july. Is it still covered in snow that time of the year? I want to go back country hiking, and probably spend 2 nights out there. Leaning right now towards hiking around many glacier. Any suggestions on trails or camp sites, and what should i expect as far as weather is concerned.

Especially the way the snow seems to be piling up this year, your dates are going to be too early for most of the high county and passes. There are some lower areas you can access, like the Belly river from the customs station that would be nice short backpacks and maybe some of the sites out of Cutbank. Many Glacier should be ok for day hikes, but the tunnel will likley be closed. Still, keep your eyes on the parks backcountry trail updates and you may get lucky.
