Looking for rental/hotel suite can accommodate 6 people

Every year I get together with some old friends for a long weekend. We usually just all travel to the city of that year's designated host, and crash at their home or apt. This year we're mixing it up, and traveling to Brooklyn. A city where none of us reside.

I'm having a hard time finding a place that can accommodate 6 people in one space. Obviously we could get hotel rooms, but that defeats the point of being together like old times.

AirBnB lets you rent someone's apartment, which has pros and cons, including dubious legality in most cases. However, I haven't really found much in the way of large extended stay-esque hotels, or vacation rentals. I may not be looking in the right spots on the internet.

Does anyone have any suggestions? We don't need six beds, just a bed or two, and a pull out. We'd like a small kitchenette maybe, and a nice neighborhood close to public transit. Under $400 a night is also preferable.

Forget vacation apartment rentals due to the legal issues.

How about a B&B like

Or a two-bedroom suite at

Either of those work?
